Homeless Prevention Program
The program provides a continuum of services aimed at addressing those issues that impede clients from becoming self-sufficient and which, if not addressed, could eventually lead to eviction and homelessness. Services include case management, crisis counseling, information and referral, employment assistance, and financial assistance. Financial assistance funds are used for rent assistance to prevent eviction, utilities assistance to prevent termination of services, childcare and local transportation costs. This year we assisted 87 clients with utility payment assistance and 47 clients with evection prevention dollars.
